What do I need to make this pasta sauce with ground beef?

To make this pasta sauce with ground beef, you will need:

• Ground beef: Adds flavor and texture to the sauce.
• Pasta sauce (jarred or homemade pasta sauce)
  • If you are using homemade pasta sauce, make that first so you can add it to this recipe. My PERFECT PASTA SAUCE is really easy and quick to make!
• Onion: Adds depth of flavor and aroma.
• Garlic: Adds depth of flavor and aroma.
• Parsley: Adds freshness.
• Oregano: Adds herbal undertones.
• Salt and pepper: To taste.

How do I make this easy meat sauce?

First, peel and dice the onion and mince the garlic.

Put olive oil in a large saucepan on medium-high heat and saute until translucent.

Add the garlic and saute for just a minute. Next, stir in the oregano.

Add the ground beef, salt and pepper and cook until browned.

Once the meat is browned, add the pasta sauce and chopped parsley and stir.

Let it simmer on low for about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• ½ onion diced
• 4 cloves garlic minced
• ½ cup parsley chopped
• 1 tablespoon oregano dried
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon black pepper
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• pasta sauce homemade or 1 jar
• ¼ teaspoon garlic salt to taste, optional

Instructions

• Peel and dice the onion and mince the garlic.

  Set a large saucepan on medium-high heat and saute the onion with the olive oil until translucent (about 5 minutes).
• Stir in garlic for a minute. Add oregano and stir.
• Add the ground beef and brown the meat (about 7-10 minutes).
• Once the meat is browned, add the pasta sauce and parsley and stir.

  Let it simmer for about 20 minutes, covered, on medium-low/low heat.
• Enjoy!

You can use HOMEMADE PASTA SAUCE or one jar of store-bought pasta sauce for this recipe.
