These salmon tacos with slaw have it all. They are perfectly compiled with flavor and texture to make them totally unforgettable.
In my household, we try to eat fish at least twice a week, and you better believe these salmon tacos with slaw are a favorite!
No one complains about dinner when these deliciously crunchy, spicy, sweet, and savory tacos are on the table. It’s also a guilt-free meal because salmon (the fish of choice) is full of omega 3’s and the rest of the ingredients like avocado pile on the nutritional benefits.
Believe me, once you make these once, you’ll be hooked! 😉
This post is about how to make the absolute best salmon tacos with slaw.
You will need:
First, pan-sear the salmon. Dab the salmon dry with a paper towel and sprinkle salt and pepper on the fillets.
In a hot pan on medium heat, add olive oil and carefully place the salmon in the pan, with the unskinned side down first. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
Flip the salmon over and cook for another 5-7 minutes until it is no longer opaque and is flaky.
Note: The amount of time it takes to cook the salmon through depends on the thickness of the salmon fillet. If the salmon fillet is thinner, it will require less cooking time on both sides.
In another hot pan, warm up the tortillas.
To assemble these tacos:
Then, devour.
Tacos are a fun meal because all of the ingredients can be put on the table and everyone can make their tacos to their liking. Extra avocado and roasted corn for me, please!
I seriously look forward to any time we have these tacos, they are that good.
