Notes

Can I substitute the milk for water?
Yes, you may substitute the milk for water or a mix of half water and half milk.
Can I use a different kind of oat?
Cooking times will vary depending on the type of oats you use.
  • If you use quick oats, it may require less liquid and less cooking time. Note that it will not hold as much texture as rolled oats.
  • If you use steel-cut oats, they will maintain texture but they will require more liquid and a longer cooking time (about 30 minutes).
