Over the years, I’ve grown to appreciate heat as a flavor profile. There used to be a time where I wouldn’t consider eating a burger like this but nowadays, I’ve learned that spicy is a craving that must be met, just like sweet and savory are.
I compiled this burger with heat, creaminess, and crunch to make the bite satisfying on multiple notes. This burger is spicy, but if you are looking for an even bigger spicy punch, I give you suggestions for that, too, below.

To make this recipe, you will need:
Firstly, make the patties. I like to form the patties, season them with salt and pepper and then grill, bake (Easy Baked Hamburger Patties) or pan-fry them (Juicy Stovetop Burger Recipe). Once they are cooked, be sure to add a slice of pepper jack cheese on top and let it melt.
Note: If you would like a spicier burger, you can mix in chopped jalapenos to the patties before cooking.
Next, lightly toast the ciabatta buns and start assembling the burger.
