Notes
How do I store homemade croutons?Homemade croutons will last a very long time depending on how it is stored. I suggest putting the croutons in an airtight container and putting them in the refrigerator or freezer. They will last a month in the refrigerator and up to 6 months in the freezer. Can I use fresh bread to make homemade croutons?Yes, but it will take a bit longer to dry out and crisp in the oven. Can I change the herbs to diversify the flavor?Definitely! If you prefer a bolder-tasting crouton, feel free to substitute the dried parsley for another herb like oregano or Italian seasoning.
