Ingredients
½cuptahini
6tablespoonswater
¼cupfresh lemon juicestrained
2clovesgarlicminced
½teaspoonsalt
¼teaspooncuminoptional
Instructions
In a medium bowl, add the tahini (paste). Add the lemon juice, water, garlic, and salt to the tahini.
Mix together with a whisk until well combined (about 2 minutes). Whisk until the sauce lightens in color and the consistency is smooth. Enjoy!
Notes
This sauce is smooth, except for the little bits of garlic throughout. I, personally, don't mind the minced garlic bits in the sauce.But, if you prefer an ultra-smooth sauce with no garlic bits, you can use an immersion blender to blend the sauce. Note: This, in turn, may make the sauce thicker so you will have to adjust the consistency (and taste) by adding more water, salt, and lemon juice.

Transfer the sauce to an airtight jar or container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
